Thank you for this read! I just finished an online brief course to learn more about uBuntu and am in awe of the philosophy, the way of life, and the fact that it is described as pre-dating the 10 Commandments by 1500 years! I was born Jewish, but have always considered myself more of a spiritual person, and have always been drawn to Buddhist philosophy and practice, but uBuntu resounds in my heart! After learning about it I have so many questions, and yet have found it difficult to find information. I find it strange that websites providing a history of world religions do not even mention uBuntu. I know that uBuntu is not considered a “religion,” but it seems such a unifying belief system that I would classify it as such if for not other reason than to make it more accessible to the world’s people at a time when most of us could use a dose of compassion for the self and for the rest of humanity.
I would be grateful for any additional resources you can point me towards!
