This happened. During a “get to know you” networking session she came at me with everything she had — age, experience, success, business savvy, money…
Why?
I don’t know. Maybe her own doubts or fears — maybe jealousy — maybe she was intimidated… But I know who I am, I know where I’m going, and I don’t need her support or approval. This sovereign state will NOT go quietly into that dark night.
Nothing bad can happen when I act from a place of love.
Last summer I did what I was called to do for 30 days — walked to the beach, collected rocks and glass, made art with my finds, and wrote about the experience. By day 15 I was called again, to write a book about the process, and again, I followed the call.
Everything since then has been full of wonder, joy, and passion. Yes, tears too, and effort, exhaustion, setbacks. But through it all ran the thread of rightness that no one can take from me. It is in my SOUL and divinely gifted. Mine to have and to hold forever.
